Prof. Dr. Hatice Camgöz Akdağ began her academic career by graduating from the Department of Management at Boğaziçi University, Türkiye. She completed her Master’s degree in the MBA program at Eastern Mediterranean University, Northern Cyprus and her Ph.D. in Quality Management at Brunel University, Faculty of Engineering, United Kingdom. Since 2020, she has been serving as the Head of the Department of Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Faculty of Management.

Throughout her academic and administrative career, she has held critical positions such as ITU Rector's Advisor (2016–2020), Chair of the ITU Career Center (2018–2020), Head of the ITU Health Systems Management Program (2016–ongoing), and ITU Quality Coordinator (2016–2017, 2019–2020). Additionally, she is the designer and coordinator of the Sustainability Management Specialist Certification Program under ITU Continuing Education Center (ITUSEM).

Her research interests span a broad range, including sustainability, sustainability management, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indices, healthcare quality management, lean healthcare practices, clinical process mapping, and machine learning. She has particularly focused on improving patient flow in breast cancer centers and implementing sustainability practices in the healthcare sector. She has participated in numerous national and international projects. Her research projects include studies on lean process design, patient satisfaction, sustainable supply chain management, and artificial intelligence applications in the healthcare sector.

Known for her scientific productivity, Prof. Dr. Camgöz Akdağ has made significant contributions to academia with 53 international publications, 87 full-text international conference proceedings, 33 book chapters, and 3 edited books. She has also supervised 22 master’s and 8 doctoral students, contributing to the training of future scientists. Her educational roles include serving on the ITU Faculty of Management Faculty Board and Executive Board, the ITU Construction Management Informatics Master’s Program Executive Board, and as the Erasmus Coordinator for Management Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Camgöz Akdağ has been recognized with several awards, including four “Best Paper Awards” at international conferences and the "Innovative Healthcare Professional of the Year" award at the 2021 Doctor Club Awards. She is a member of prestigious organizations such as ASQ (American Society of Quality), CSQ (Canadian Society of Quality), and ASEM (American Society of Engineering Management). She has actively contributed to symposiums and conferences, serving as a scientific committee member and organizational chair for events such as the "International Symposium for Production Research" and the "National Healthcare Forum" since 2017.

Nur Eradlı is an accomplished project manager, researcher, and academic specializing in European Union projects, sustainability management, and internationalization in higher education. She currently serves as the Project Manager and Researcher for the Jean Monnet Module, “European Leadership for Sustainability Management – EULead_SusMan” (2024-2027. In this role, she leads the planning and implementation of educational modules and workshops, collaborates with European stakeholders, and conducts research on sustainability and leadership.

Nur earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kadir Has University in 2010, graduating with the distinction of second place in her class with a 3.86 GPA (Summa Cum Laude). She also holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from McGill University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at Istanbul Technical University.

With extensive experience managing EU-funded projects, including the Social Inclusion of Women for Better Life Through Sport and Erasmus+ mobility initiatives, she has successfully secured significant grants and fostered international collaborations. Nur has also lectured on sustainability topics such as ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, the European Green Deal, and circular economy strategies, helping professionals and students develop cutting-edge expertise.

Her research contributions include publications on sustainable entrepreneurship, process innovation, and digital transformation, reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field. Nur actively engages with stakeholders across academia, industry, and policymaking, promoting the integration of sustainability principles into education and practice.
